Finalist in the Residential Architecture category of The Design Files Design Awards, the II Duomo project by WOWOWA takes its design notes from a post-war renovation which featured Italian highlights, giving the project its II Duomo name.
Featuring pink, black & green Terrazzo paving throughout both the internal and external space, the scheme references the Italian inspiration while creating unity between zones in the small urban floorplate. The client brief focused around a light-filled, optimistic, flexible, storage-filled & playful space, which was resolved using lightwells, geometric lines and textures, a unique colour scheme and a light filled yard.
Design Nation provided a number of pieces which fulfilled the client brief including the Ziggy Ottoman by Saba, Cigales by Miniforms, Low & High Stance Stool by Furnished Forever and the Gelava Armchair by Didier.
